Assistant Professor Paul Spagnuolo receives the American Society for Nutrition’s Mead Johnson Award

Congratulations to University of Waterloo Assistant Professor and NHPRS Board of Directors member Paul Spagnuolo, who has been awarded the 2016 Mead Johnson Award presented by the American Society of Nutition. Dr. Spagnuolo’s research investigates the potential anti-cancer treatment applications of nutraceuticals, and his recent findings on the use of avocado-derived molecules in combating acute myeloid leukaemia have received worldwide attention.
