Student Bursary Award winners

Since its inception, NHPRS has provided bursary awards at the annual research conference for the best student oral and poster presentations.

In 2010, at the 7th annual conference, The Next Wave, NHPRS provided the following NHP student researchers with awards:

Jordana Fera, Laurentian University, received a $1000 award for Anti-Cancer and Chemopreventative Activity of Chimaphila umbellata

Carly Griffin, University of Windsor, received a $1000 award for Pancratistatin Selectively Induces Apoptosis in Cancer Cells and Reduces Growth of Colon Xenografts
